Eshantha Peiris has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Eshantha worked at Dilmah Tea from 2017, starting as a Consultant to the Chairman and later becoming the General Manager of Strategic Planning and Projects. In this role, they contributed to the group's strategic direction and successfully implemented new projects such as a state-of-the-art Steam Sterilizing Factory, Spice Grinding Mill, and Cinnamon Oil Extraction Factory. Eshantha also worked on projects involving quartz mining, agarwood plantation, organic fertilizer, and leisure sector developments.

Prior to Dilmah Tea, Peiris served as the Group COO at CRYSBRO Group of Companies, a market leader in poultry production in Sri Lanka. Eshantha was responsible for overseeing all aspects of poultry production and marketing. Before that, they worked as the Marketing Director at VISION4 GLOBAL (PVT) LTD, where they led the marketing efforts for the company's "CITROX" range of products.

Peiris also gained experience in the hospitality industry as the Financial Controller at ZILWA LTD, a subsidiary of IFA Hotels & Resorts Dubai. Eshantha played a key role in the development of a Five Star Hotel, Serviced Residences, and a Marina in the Seychelles.

Earlier in their career, Peiris worked at Seychelles Marketing Board, where they held various positions including Director/General Manager of CPL and Director/Section Manager. In these roles, they managed aquaculture operations and various business units within the organization. Eshantha also served as the Executive Assistant to the Managing Director, overseeing corporate planning functions and coordinating budget presentations.

Peiris began their career as an Accountant at Seychelles Marketing Board, where they were responsible for financial control, preparation of financial statements, and coordination of external audits.
