Rene van Loon currently serves as Vice President Ocean Product EMEA at CEVA Logistics, a position held since May 2013. Prior to this role, Rene held several leadership positions including Director Key Accounts Europe and Managing Director at Damco from November 2008 to April 2013. Previous experience includes General Manager of Import and Export Logistics for Central Europe at Maersk Logistics from 2005 to 2008 and General Manager for Benelux, France, and Switzerland at P&O Nedlloyd Logistics from 2000 to 2005. Additionally, Rene was Sales Manager at Schenker Nederland BV from 1997 to 2000, Manager of the European accounts desk at P&O Nedlloyd from 1995 to 1997, and held various operational and sales positions at Nedlloyd from 1985 to 1995. Rene van Loon holds a degree from Port and Transport College, completed between 1980 and 1984.
