Cari Collins has an extensive background in Career & Technical Education. From, teaching Family and Consumer Sciences to writing curriculum, Collins has a passion for CTE and watching students grow personally and professionally.
She graduated from New Mexico State University with a degree in home economics education with a minor in family, child and consumer sciences. Collins has over eight years of classroom teaching experience and has worked at the Curriculum Center for Family and Consumer Sciences at Texas Tech University for three years. Using her background in curriculum and experience as a CTE educator, she is an asset to the Brand Management team as they develop innovative and effective content for iCEV.
As a Content Developer, Collins researches, organizes and writes content for lessons and curriculum activities. She says the most rewarding part of her job is helping take the pressure off teachers by developing curriculum for them. Collins believes this allows teachers to have more time to interact with their students.
