L¨²cia Helena Xavier is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in environmental management, waste management, and sustainability indicators. Currently serving as a researcher at CETEM - Centro de Tecnologia Mineral since July 2017, L¨²cia has also held roles as a visiting researcher at Memorial University of Newfoundland and a senior researcher at Funda??o Joaquim Nabuco, where significant projects were developed in environmental management and reverse logistics. L¨²cia's expertise is further demonstrated through past positions at various esteemed institutions including the Escola Polit¨¦cnica da USP, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, and involvement with the Associa??o Brasileira de Engenharia Ambiental. L¨²cia holds a doctorate and a master's degree in Production Engineering, as well as a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
