Jiří Bořík has extensive experience in the field of computer science and information technology, holding significant positions since 2004 at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, including Director of the Centre for Information Technology and Head of the Laboratory for Computer Science. Additionally, Jiří serves as a Cyber Security Architect and Head of the Network Identity Department at CESNET since 2014. As a co-founder of the Studentský inkubátor established in 2022 and Director at the Centrum informatizace a výpočetní techniky ZČU since 2021, Jiří demonstrates commitment to innovation in technology. Previous roles include Computer Programmer and Systems Integrator at Infotron and Západočeská energetika from 1992 to 2004 and from 1987 to 2004, respectively. Jiří Bořík holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of West Bohemia, obtained in 1992, following an education in Measurement and Automation from a technical high school.
