April Wilkner is a multifaceted professional with a diverse background in mental health and entertainment. Currently serving as a Chat & Text Counselor for the #988 Suicide Hotline at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services since April 2023, April previously volunteered with the organization from January 2020 to December 2022, where April gained certification in Psychological First Aid and ASIST Suicide Prevention. April's extensive experience in the entertainment industry includes roles as an Actor and TV Correspondent with SAG-AFTRA since July 2007, and as a Talent and Print Model with CESD Talent Agency since August 2019. April's past roles also encompass a variety of positions, such as Broadcasting Talent with Don Buchwald & Associates, a Senior Marketing Executive at Liiiike Shopping Inc., and experience in production with Madoff Productions and NBCUniversal. April holds a B.A. in Journalism, Communications, and Creative Arts from New York University, obtained in 2002.
