Garrett Villegas possesses a diverse background in scientific research and technology support. Currently serving as Assistant Scientist II at Cerus since August 2015, Garrett has contributed to RBC process development through protocol writing, experimental execution, data analysis, and report drafting. Prior experience includes a role at Independent Plumbing & Drain, where responsibilities encompassed IT support and networking solutions for commercial and residential accounts. Additionally, Garrett served as a Peer Tutor at Western Placer Unified School District, assisting students in math, science, and special needs studies. Garrett holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis, and is pursuing an Associate of Science in Fire Technology at Sierra College.
