Kristen Smith has diverse work experience in the field of drafting and design, with a particular focus on using Autodesk products. Kristen started their career as an Application Engineer at AI Systems, where they provided technical account management and training for Data Management and AEC accounts. Kristen then worked as a Consultant at Autodesk, where they provided training and performed operational testing and validation on future Architectural Products. Following this, they became the Learning and Technology Director at Summit Learning and Technology, where they utilized their architectural background to develop technical curriculum for Autodesk products. Kristen Smith attended Utah State University from 1991 to 1993, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Drafting. In addition to their formal education, Kristen has obtained several certifications. In 2015, they became an AutoCAD 2015 Certified Professional and a Revit Architecture 2015 Certified Professional through Autodesk. In 2016, they achieved the certification of Autodesk Certified Instructor. Kristen continued to expand their certifications in 2017 by becoming an AutoCAD Certified Professional and a Revit Architecture Certified Professional, both from Autodesk. In 2018, they obtained certifications in Computing Fundamentals and Living Online from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business. Most recently, in 2020, Kristen acquired the Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Associate certification from Microsoft.
