Vanessa Ohta is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and program management. Currently serving as Vice President of Operations at Certified Employee-Owned since October 2023, Vanessa previously held the position of Senior Director of Operations and Delivery at SV Academy from October 2022 to May 2023. At General Assembly, a tenure from September 2014 to October 2022 included roles as Senior Director of Faculty, Director of Online Delivery, Senior Manager of Instruction and Operations, Program Manager, and Education Programs Producer. Vanessa's earlier career includes a Research Fellowship at Stanford Law School and various positions at Columbia University, including Program Coordinator for Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences and Research Assistant. Vanessa began career experiences as a Counselor at Camp Unalayee from 2004 to 2009. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and American Studies from Columbia University, earned in 2010.
