Merryl Black is an experienced professional in the fields of investor relations and sustainability, currently serving as the Investor Relations and Sustainability Manager at Ceres since July 2023, after holding the position of Associate. Prior experience includes working as the R&D and ESG Coordinator at DeNova Inc, where strategies for the ESG plan were devised and implemented, alongside conducting life cycle analyses to minimize greenhouse gas emissions. Merryl also served as a Research Scientist at DeNova, focusing on data standardization and optimizing product sustainability. Notably, participation as a Sustainability Champion in a 2041 Foundation expedition to Antarctica highlighted climate change issues. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Mount Allison University.
