Mahfujur Rahman, PhD, serves as Principal Scientist and Technical Lead of the cell development program at Ceres Power since April 2014, focusing on next-generation low TRL Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) cell development. Previously, Mahfujur held the role of Engineering Research Manager at University College Dublin, overseeing funded research projects in sustainable energy and supporting grant applications. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Solar Material Development Engineer at SolarPrint Limited, as well as a Research Fellow and Research Associate at University College Dublin and Dublin City University, respectively. Mahfujur's educational background includes a PhD in Material and Manufacturing Engineering from Dublin City University and a BSc in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
