Matt Materasso, M.Ed, MAT, currently serves as a Physical Education Teacher at Cerebral Palsy of Westchester and is a Physical Education Teacher and Track and Field Coach at Byram Hills High School. With a rich background that includes a role as Sports Director and Coach for the New Castle Recreation Department since 2009, and previous positions at Hawthorne Foundation Inc., and Central Connecticut State University, Matt focuses on enhancing quality of life through sports and recreation, while ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for personal development. Matt holds a Master’s degree in Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy from Manhattanville University and is pursuing an M.Ed. in Health and Wellness Education from the American College of Education. An educational journey began with a B.S. in Sports Management from Sacred Heart University.
