René Villemure D.h.c. currently serves as a federal deputy for the Bloc Québécois in the Trois-Rivières constituency since September 2021. With extensive experience in ethics, René Villemure has been the President of Éthikos since March 1998, leading initiatives in strategic advice, ethical oversight, and content development. As a founding member of Cercle K2, a think tank addressing various industry and societal issues, René Villemure has contributed significantly to discussions on economic development and governance. Academically, René Villemure has lectured on ethics at The Directors College, a collaboration between McMaster University and the Conference Board of Canada. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) candidacy in Applied Ethics and a Master of Arts in Philosophy with a focus on Applied Ethics and Economics, both obtained from Université de Sherbrooke.
