Kevin Gesquiere has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Kevin is currently employed as a Global IT Architect at Cerba Research since May 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Business Intelligence Team Lead at the same company from November 2021 to present. Kevin also worked as a Business Intelligence Developer at Cerba Research from September 2016 to November 2021.

Before joining Cerba Research, Kevin worked at Atri Services as a Business Intelligence Developer from September 2015 to August 2016. Here, they were responsible for implementing BI solutions, creating data structures, queries, and reports using various technologies such as SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.

In earlier years, Kevin gained experience at Actemium as an Automation/IT Engineer from June 2011 to August 2015. Kevin'sresponsibilities included developing MES solutions using ASP.NET and Simatic IT, as well as developing drivers. Prior to this role, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at Actemium, where they drew electrical schemes for different customers using Eplan and AutoCad.

Kevin's earliest work experiences include positions as a Lasser at Fire Technics nv from April 2005 to April 2007, and as a Lasser at VDL Bus & Coach from November 2004 to April 2005. Kevin started their career as an Onderhoudstechnieker at McCain Foods from January 2002 to October 2004.

From 2008 to 2013, Kevin studied Toepaste Informatica (Applied Computer Science) at KATHO Hogeschool Kortrijk, where they received a Bachelor's degree.

From 2001 to 2002, they pursued an A2 degree in Aanvullend Specialisatiejaar Industriële Onderhoudstechnieken (Additional Specialization Year in Industrial Maintenance Techniques) at KTA 1 Oostende.

Earlier, from 1996 to 2001, Kevin attended KTA 1 Oostende, where they earned an A2 degree in Electromechanica (Electromechanics).

In addition to their formal education, Kevin obtained several certifications. Notably, in 2022, they obtained the ITIL 4 Foundation Level certification from AXELIOS. In 2021, they received the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certifications from Microsoft. In 2018, they completed the Data Science, Deep Learning, & Machine Learning with Python course on Udemy. Furthermore, in 2017, they earned the DAT207x: Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI certification from edX. In 2016, they achieved the MCSE: Data Management and Analytics — Certified 2016 certification, as well as the Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert Business Intelligence certification. Additionally, in 2016, they passed the Exam 467: Designing Business Intelligence Solutions with Microsoft SQL Server. In 2015, they obtained the Exam 466: Implementing Data Models and Reports with Microsoft SQL Server certification, the Exam 463: Implementing a Data Warehouse with Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 certification, and the MCSA: SQL Server 2012/2014 certification. Earlier in the same year, they completed the Exam 462: Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 Databases certification and the Exam 461: Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 certification. Furthermore, in 2014, Kevin obtained the MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional certification. Kevin also received several application developer certifications from Wonderware by Schneider Electric in 2014, including Application Developer In Application Server 4.0, Application Developer In Historian Server 11.5, and Application Developer In InTouch for System Platform 11.0.
