Bikalpa Upadhyaya, PhD, currently serves as a Software Engineer at Cequence Security since November 2022. Previously, Bikalpa held the position of Doctoral Researcher at A*STAR from January 2017 to April 2021, where significant contributions were made in implementing machine learning models for anomaly and attack detection in wireless IoT networks, achieving over 25 percent performance improvement. Teaching Assistant experience at Kathmandu University involved supervising multiple student projects, while prior roles included Electrical Maintenance Engineer at China International Water and Electric Corporation, Research and Development Engineer in electric vehicle design, and an internship at Airspan Networks. Bikalpa holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Internet of Things Security from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Kathmandu University.
