Rebecca Truty is a Principal Bioinformatics Scientist at Cepheid since October 2022, following an extensive career at Invitae from February 2016 to July 2022, where roles included Bioinformatic Data Scientist focusing on polygenic risk score development, Head of Data Governance and Stewardship, and Lead of the Clinical Data Analysis team. Prior experience includes positions at Complete Genomics Inc. as a Senior Bioinformatics Analyst and Bioinformatics Analyst, and a Bioinformatics Fellow at The J. David Gladstone Institutes, UCSF. Rebecca earned a PhD in Nuclear Particle Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a BS in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
