John Hipskind has extensive work experience in the field of medicine. John started their career in 1995 as an Attending Physician in the Emergency Department at Kaweah Delta Medical Center. In 2006, they joined Kaweah Delta Health Care District and served as the Medical Director from 2006 to 2008. John also held the position of Board of Trustees from 2008 to 2018 and the Medical Student Clerkship Director from 2011 to 2018. In 2011, they joined CEP America as the Assistant Medical Director. Currently, they are working at Vituity since July 2019 as the GME and Fellowship Ultrasound Director.
John Hipskind completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. John then attended Rush Medical College of Rush University Medical Center from 1983 to 1987, earning their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
In addition to their formal education, John Hipskind has obtained several certifications. In 2021, they completed the "Preparing Yourself for Change" certification from LinkedIn.
