Janet Young has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. janet started their career as a Resident Physician at Stanford University School of Medicine from 2002 to 2005. janet then joined CEP America, where they held various positions including Medical Director from 2009 to 2012, Regional Director from 2012 to 2016, and eventually Vice President of Operations starting from 2017. In 2005, they also started working at Vituity as Vice President, focusing on integrated care and leading positive change in healthcare. More recently, in 2020, they became a Board Member at the Vituity Cares Foundation.
Janet Young holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Stanford University, which they obtained between the years 2002 and 2005. During this time, they specialized in the Emergency Medicine Residency Program. Before attending Stanford University, Janet earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Riverside. janet then pursued their medical education at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where they obtained another Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Additionally, Janet is board certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
