Luis Vargas has a diverse and accomplished work experience. In 2018, they founded and became the CEO of Modern Adventure and Paragon, two immersive travel brands and platforms. In 2021, they became the Chairman of the Board of Directors for TEDxPortland. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Chapter Officer, Member, and Oregon Chapter x Global One for YPO. In 2016, they became a Board Member and Senior Advisor for the Adventure Travel Trade Association. In 2020, they were named a Top Travel Specialist for Condé Nast Traveller. 🚀 Luis also became a Board Member and Advisor for El Camino Travel and a Board Member and Innovation for TCS World Travel. In 2020, they joined WorldOregon as a Board Member and Advisor and became a Partner for CEO Coaching International. Finally, in 2019, they became a Board Member for Classic Wines Foundation.

Luis Vargas began their educational journey at San Diego State University, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General between 1994 and 1997. In 2004, they earned a Certified Sommelier certification from The Court of Master Sommeliers. 🚀 Luis later obtained a Level 2 Certified Sommelier certification from the same institution in 2005. In 2007, they completed a General Management degree from UCLA Anderson School of Management with a focus on Entrepreneurship.
