Calvin B. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Calvin began their career in 2005 as a Realtor at Century 21 Realty Partners, where they worked independently to identify and persuade potential clients to buy, sell, or lease real property. During this time, they also assisted with new agent training in technology. In 2008, Calvin worked as a Temporary Assistant at the Society for Neuroscience, where they fielded calls and emails from members all over the world and updated the member database. Calvin then moved on to become an Emergency Tower Inspection Dispatcher at Data Cell Systems, where they dispatched emergency crews to inspect and repair cell phone towers in a disaster area. In 2009, Calvin joined MPP as a Development Officer, where they researched potential major donors and managed temps and interns. Calvin also represented the organization at a large political convention in Las Vegas. Returning to Century 21 Realty Partners in the same year, Calvin took on the role of Realtor and Office Assistant, negotiating and completing legal real estate documents and presenting professional listing presentations to prospective clients. From 2012 to 2016, they held the positions of Online Marketing Director and Business Development Director at Century 21 Realty Partners, where they designed and managed the company website and identified business opportunities through market analysis. Calvin also managed special initiatives and advised the CEO.

Calvin B. pursued their undergraduate studies from 2004 to 2008 at American University's School of International Service. Calvin obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies, with a focus on International Politics and Latin America. Later, from 2010 to 2014, Calvin attended LSU Law, where they earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law (D.C.L.).
