Laura Kowal is a skilled professional with extensive experience in software testing, programming, and scientific analysis within the meteorological and environmental satellite data sectors. Currently serving as a Junior Software Testing Engineer for AWIPS at Centuria since December 2016, Laura has previously held roles at Syneren Technologies Corporation, Arctic Slope Regional Corporation Federal, Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies, and SSAI. Laura's expertise encompasses developing and managing various operational manuals and training guides, coordinating data processing transitions for NOAA users, and implementing science algorithms for satellite products. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from the University of Utah, obtained in 2007.
