Nipun Vij has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Nipun started their career as a Senior Manager in Van Gogh Preferred Banking at Royal Bank of Scotland Business in 2009. Nipun then joined Ing Vysya Bank, now known as Kotak Mahindra Bank, as an AVP in Corporate Sales from 2010 to 2012. Nipun Vij also served as a Political Consultant for Aam Aadmi Party in 2013 and later became the District President for the party. In 2012, they founded and served as the CEO of The Chaiwalas, a rapidly growing tea cafe chain with a presence in multiple cities. Nipun then transitioned to the role of Partner in Private Banking at Edelweiss - Private Wealth Management from 2017 to 2020. Nipun Vij's most recent experience is as a Senior Private Banker and Director of Global Private Clients at HDFC Bank from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President at Centrum India.

Nipun Vij attended Cambridge School from 1989 to 2002, where they studied Commerce. Nipun then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with Honors from Delhi University from 2002 to 2005. In 2008-2009, they completed a Post Graduation in Business Analytics from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Currently, Nipun Vij is a Level 1 Candidate in the CFA program.
