Jacob Schronce has experience in various engineering roles. Jacob is currently working at Centro, Inc. as a Project Engineer, where they started in June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Engineering Assistant at the same company from January 2021 to June 2021.

Before joining Centro, Inc., Jacob worked at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where they held multiple positions. Jacob served as a Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Engineering Practices and Principles 1 from August 2020 to January 2021. In this role, they led weekly sessions, graded assignments, and provided clear and professional assistance to students.

Jacob also worked as a Maximizing Academic and Professional Success (MAPS) Coach at the university from August 2018 to December 2020. In this position, they mentored incoming engineering freshmen, led weekly sessions, and planned sessions based on the curriculum.

Additionally, Jacob gained industry experience through internships. Jacob served as a Project/Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Centro, Inc. from May 2019 to August 2019, where they assisted project, design, and quality engineers, and operated a 3D printer. Prior to that, they worked as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Franklin Solutions Inc from May 2018 to August 2018. In this role, they assembled machinery, used machine shop equipment, and performed tasks under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.

Jacob Schronce attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
