Deborah Thomas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and operational project management across various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Portfolio Management at Centrica since February 2011, Deborah leads a team of Portfolio Management Analysts and is responsible for driving performance through portfolio analytics and managing the £150 million Change Plan. Previously, Deborah held key roles at Capita National Strategies, including Operational PMO Manager and Project Support Officer, where responsibilities encompassed managing a PMO, producing performance indicators, and implementing project governance processes. Deborah's earlier career includes positions at Penna Consulting Plc, Syngenta Seeds, and Kent County Council Property Group, with a strong emphasis on project coordination, contract administration, and performance monitoring. Deborah holds a BSc in Physics with Space Science and Systems from the University of Kent, complemented by A Levels in Physics, Mathematics, and Art & Design from Invicta Grammar School.
