Simone Robbers possesses extensive experience in governance, strategy, and sustainability, currently serving as Assistant Governor and General Manager for Strategy, Governance and Sustainability at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand since February 2019. In addition to this role, Simone has been a Board Member at Toitū Tahua: Centre for Sustainable Finance since August 2021. Previously, Simone worked at the Financial Markets Authority - New Zealand from June 2014 to February 2019, holding various director positions, including Director of Strategy, Risk and Assurance. Earlier roles included Head of Primary Regulatory Operations and Manager of Regulatory Policy at the same authority, alongside experience as Risk and Compliance Manager at AXA New Zealand from 2006 to 2009. Simone holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Otago, completed in 1994.
