Jill Morse has a diverse work experience in the field of infectious diseases and healthcare strategy. Jill has worked for the Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZ) in various roles, including Head of Business Development and Strategy, Technical Advisor: Strategy & Business Development, and Program Manager, Tuberculosis Department. In these positions, they have overseen multiple portfolios, developed business plans, built donor relationships, and implemented ERP systems. Jill also worked as a Consultant for the SADC Malaria Elimination Eight Secretariat, where they contributed to regional malaria studies and strategic development plans. Additionally, they have experience as a Research Assistant and Program Director in different organizations.
Jill Morse holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town, which they obtained in 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) in Behavioral Health Sciences at the University of Toronto from 2009 to 2011. Jill completed their undergraduate studies at Trent University from 2004 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Honours in International Development Studies. Additionally, Jill has obtained certifications in Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Job Evaluation, and Protection of Human Research Subjects (HSP). Jill has also received training in Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance and USAID & CDC Compliance and Financial Management.
