Harri Hakala is currently the Community Coordinator for the CATCH THE CARBON Research and Innovation Programme at ELY-keskus, a position held since May 2021. Previously, Harri served as the Climate Coordinator for the City of Mikkeli from November 2019 to January 2022 and as an Elearning Specialist for Varkauden kaupunki from 2017 to 2019. Harri's earlier experience includes various roles at the University of Helsinki's Ruralia Institute from 2004 to 2016, such as Project Manager, Elearning Coordinator, Special Planning Officer, and Elearning Specialist. Additionally, Harri taught at the University of Helsinki, Open University, and other institutions from 1997 to 2004, and worked as a Consultant for the Finnish Environment Institute. Harri is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies at the University of Helsinki and is also engaged in executive education at Aalto University.
