Freddy Lara is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in social work and management, currently serving as Manager of the Forensic General Rehabilitation Unit A at CAMH since December 2013. Lara has also held the role of Interim Manager for the Forensic Early Intervention Service (FEIS), and previously worked as a Forensic Social Worker in both the Forensic-Rehabilitation/General Unit B and FEIS, where responsibilities included conducting clinical case conferences and advocating for client reintegration. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Sales at JML International, and roles at Mount Sinai Hospital and RBC, focusing on mental health practices and financial advisory services, respectively. Educational accomplishments include a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto and a Specialist Degree in Social/Cultural Anthropology.
