Dorrett Bryan has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Dorrett began their career in 2001 at Humber River Hospital, where they held the positions of Clinical Practice Leader and Nurse Manager. In 2015, they joined St. Joseph's Health Centre as an After Hours Clinical Manager. During the same year, they also worked as a Nursing Instructor at George Brown College. In 2022, they became the Clinical Director of Geriatric, Adult Neurodevelopmental, and Social Support Services at CAMH. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in nursing supervision, critical care, clinical management, and education.

Dorrett Bryan's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in nursing education in dementia care from the University of Alberta (2018-2023). Prior to that, they obtained a Certificate in Diabetes Educator from The Michener Institute of Education at UHN (completed in 2016) and a Master's of Nursing in Leadership and Education from Ryerson University (completed in 2010).
