Shawn Pottorf is currently the Quality Manager at Central Semiconductor, where they manage discrete semiconductor product qualifications and reliability. They also serve as a Senior Product Quality Engineer and report directly on the Quality department status and projects. Prior to this, they worked at Sensitron Semiconductor as a Senior Engineer focusing on failure analysis and semiconductor packaging product development. At Stony Brook University, they worked as a Postdoctoral Assistant and Research Assistant, conducting research on condensed matter and solid state devices. Additionally, they have a Ph.D. in Physics from Stony Brook University and a B.S. in Physics from the University of West Georgia.
