Karl Kurt has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as the Assistant Chief and HR Director at Central Rivers Area Education Agency since 2016. Previously, Karl held the positions of Superintendent and Elementary Principal at North Linn Community School from 2013 to 2016 and Superintendent at Central City Community School District from 2009 to 2013. Earlier roles include High School Principal at Independence Community School from 2004 to 2009. Karl's educational background includes an Advanced Studies Degree in Superintendency and Educational System Administration from the University of Northern Iowa and multiple degrees in Educational Leadership, Administration, and School Psychology from Miami University and Loras College.
