Betsy Smith currently serves as the President & CEO of Central Park Conservancy, a position held since 2018. Previous experience includes roles at the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation, where Betsy worked as Assistant Commissioner and Chief of Marketing, Special Events, and Corporate Sponsorship from 2002 to 2013. Betsy also held senior positions at Sotheby's as Senior Vice President of Client Management and North American Finance, at TASK HOLDINGS UK LIMITED as Managing Director and Principal Investment Officer, and at The Prospect Group as Vice President. Early career experience includes serving as Assistant Vice President at J.P. Morgan. Betsy Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Scripps College.
