Jimmy Parish has extensive work experience in various roles within the agriculture and distribution industry. Jimmy started their career as the Forage Variety Testing Manager at Mississippi State University in 2003 and worked there until 2011. In 2011, they became the Owner of Clear Water Cattle, LLC. Jimmy then joined Central Garden Distribution: Pennington Seed in 2012, initially as a Territory Manager and later as a Regional Sales Manager. In 2018, they were promoted to the role of Director of Independent Sales Central US. Currently, Jimmy is working as the Director of National Accounts at Central Garden & Pet, a position they have held since 2023.

Jimmy Parish completed their Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences at The University of Georgia from 1998 to 2000. Jimmy then pursued a Master of Science in Agronomy and Crop Science at Mississippi State University from 2004 to 2006.
