Elisangela Varela has extensive experience in the education and support sectors, currently serving as a Bilingual Team Secretary, Covid Coordinator, and Teaching Assistant at Central Falls School District since September 2014. Alongside these roles, Elisangela has been an independent writer and freelance interpreter since September 2007, demonstrating fluency in Cape Verdean Creole and Portuguese. This linguistic proficiency has enabled Elisangela to assist non-English speaking parents effectively. Previous experience includes a Teaching Assistant position at Henry Barnard School from September 2012 to June 2013. Elisangela holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American History from Rhode Island College.
