Karen Barron, BSN, MSN, is an accomplished nursing professional with extensive experience in care coordination and management. Currently serving as the Director of Care Coordination at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital since July 2021, Karen previously held similar roles at Northwestern Medicine KishHealth and as the Regional Director of Utilization Management at AMITA Health. With expertise in managing multidisciplinary teams, Karen has focused on improving patient transitions of care to prevent readmissions. Educationally, Karen holds a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Elmhurst University.
