Deborah Poole is an experienced communications professional with a rich background in internal communications and engagement. Currently serving as the Internal Communications & Engagement Manager at Central Co-op since June 2016, Deborah has effectively managed communications visible to over 19,000 employees and supported strategic initiatives. Previously, at Spirit Pub Company from September 2009 to May 2016, Deborah held the roles of Head of Communications and Engagement and Corporate Communications Manager, spearheading the company’s recognition in The Sunday Times Best Companies and overseeing communications during a significant £30 million demerger affecting 17,000 employees. Deborah's career also includes a role as Online Manager at Punch Taverns, where a comprehensive intranet was developed and launched. With a strong emphasis on employee engagement, communication channel management, and strategic content creation, Deborah has made significant contributions to the organizations served.
