Alexandra Merrikin is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in brand strategy and development. Currently serving as the Brand Strategy Manager at Central Co-op since August 2020, Alexandra leads the branding initiatives for the funeral business, overseeing creative design and new propositions. Previously, Alexandra held the role of Brand Business Partner for the third largest funeral directors in the UK, focusing on brand strategy and managing creative development. Prior experience includes a Senior Marketing Executive position at Nimlok, where Alexandra was responsible for content creation and marketing strategy, and an Assistant Marketing Manager role at Mitchells & Butlers PLC, contributing to brand remodeling and strategic initiatives across numerous pubs. Alexandra began the marketing career in a graduate scheme and has a strong academic background, holding a 1st class BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Coventry University.
