Hossein Fahimi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in legal and regulatory affairs within the financial sector in Iran. Currently serving as Vice Governor for Parliamentary and Legal Affairs at the Central Bank of Iran since February 2022, Hossein also holds the position of Chairman at the Central Securities Depository of Iran since August 2016. With a longstanding affiliation with the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran (SEO) since 2004, Hossein has contributed significantly as a board member, executive deputy, and head of the R&D center. Earlier roles include Head of the Legal Office at the Tehran Stock Exchange from June 2003 to May 2005. Hossein Fahimi holds a Master of Arts in Economic and Business Law from the University of Tehran.
