Manager, Debt Strategy And Portfolio Management at Central Bank of Kenya

Leonard Thotho is an experienced financial professional currently serving as the Manager of Debt Strategy and Portfolio Management at the Central Bank of Kenya since March 2015, where responsibilities include the design and evaluation of the domestic debt program, portfolio management of domestic government securities, and participation in medium-term debt strategies. Prior to this role, Leonard Thotho was a Financial Market Analyst at the Central Bank of Kenya from June 2007 to January 2015 and contributed to the cooperation between the Bank of South Sudan and the Central Bank of Kenya. Early in their career, Leonard Thotho held positions as a Tutorial Fellow at the Catholic University of East Africa, a Trainee Accountant at Intercontinental Hotel and Comprehensive Management Consultants, and has obtained multiple degrees including a Master of Science in Finance and an Accredited Fellowship in Public Debt Management from the Macroeconomic and Financial Management Institute of Eastern and Southern Africa.
