Prashant Govil is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in the banking and advisory sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Specialist in the Financial Sector at the Central Bank of Bahrain since October 2005, Prashant advises and supports the Director of Retail Banking Supervision on various supervisory issues and policy-making initiatives. Prior to this role, Prashant worked at IFCI from January 2000 to September 2005, managing corporate and infrastructure advisory, risk management, and economic research functions. Additionally, Prashant began the career as an Economist at Canara Bank from March 1994 to December 1999. Prashant holds an M.A. in Economics from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and completed secondary education at Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Jodhpur.
