Ali Haroon AlAamer, CFA, has extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as the Director of the Capital Markets Supervision Directorate at the Central Bank of Bahrain since January 2011. Previous roles within the Central Bank include Acting Director and Head of various divisions, including Crypto Assets Market and Issuance, Listing & Corporate Restructure. Prior to joining the Central Bank, Ali worked as a Senior Professional at CAPIVEST Investment Bank from August 2008 to December 2010 and as a Computer Engineer at Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait from July 2005 to August 2008. Academic credentials include an MBA in Finance from NYIT (2006-2008) and a B.C.S. in Business Information Systems from the University of Bahrain (2001-2006).
