Juan Jorge Mourra has a diverse and extensive work experience. Juan Jorge currently serves as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Banco Centroamericano de Integración Económica (BCIE) since April 2019. Prior to this role, Juan held various positions at BCIE, including Head of Special Operations from 2012 to 2017, Senior Credit Risk Analyst from 2009 to 2012, and Senior Investment Officer from 2008 to 2009. Before joining BCIE, they worked at BAC Credomatic, where they were the Head of Credit Analysis from 2005 to 2007, Head of Risk Analysis from 2001 to 2005, and Senior Trust Officer from 1997 to 2000. In addition to their banking experience, Juan also worked as a Master Degree Professor at Universidad Católica de Honduras 'Nuestra Señora Reina de la Paz' from 2002 to 2007 and as an Assistant Professor at EAP Zamorano from 1995 to 1997.
Juan Jorge Mourra attended the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras from 1990 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. Later, from 1996 to 1997, they pursued a Master's degree in Finance at the Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana.
