Romain Palmade has extensive work experience in the field of Contactless & NFC technology. Romain started their career at STMicroelectronics in 2000, serving as an Application Engineer for six years. Romain then joined ATMEL where they held the roles of Application Engineer and later, Technical Leader, from 2006 to 2010. After that, they worked at Inside Secure as a Technical Leader for a year. Romain then joined StarChip as a Contactless & NFC Expert from 2011 to 2014, before being promoted to the position of Contactless & NFC Senior Expert from 2015 to 2017. Romain later joined IDEMIA as a Contactless & NFC Senior Expert, where they worked until 2019. Since July 2019, Romain has been serving as the CEO of Centiloc.

Romain Palmade pursued their education at Aix-Marseille University from 1997 to 2000. During this period, they earned a degree in microelectronique and specialized in the same field of study.
