Medhat Shehata is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in mechanical and production engineering. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Centerra Gold Inc. since October 2016, Medhat has previously held similar roles at Thompson Creek Metals Company and various engineering positions prior to that, including Mechanical Engineer at Industrial Solution Inc. and Production/Mechanical Engineer at International Clay & Minerals Co. Medhat's career began as a Production/Maintenance Engineer at Egypt Mining & Drilling Co. Medhat holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/Production Engineering from Alexandria University and has furthered education with a degree from Vancouver Community College focusing on engineering communication. Medhat is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC.
