Emmie DiCicco currently serves as the State Strategies Manager for the Food Assistance Team at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, and as a Communications Officer for the Nonprofit Professional Employees Union. Previous roles include Food Resilience Consultant for the Austin/Travis County food plan, where key achievements involved stakeholder interviews with major corporations, facilitating focus groups, and drafting significant reports on supply chain resilience and vulnerability. As a Food Policy Planner for the City of Austin, Emmie co-authored a MarCom Platinum Award-winning report and managed a mini-grant program. Experience also includes serving as Partnership Coordinator for the Partnership for a Healthy Texas, co-founding March On Harrisburg, and various writing roles. Emmie holds a Master's degree in Global Policy with a focus on Food Policy from The LBJ School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Temple University.
