Valerie Douglas has over two decades of experience in youth services and program management, currently serving as the Director of Counseling & Runaway/Homeless Youth Services at The Center for Youth Services, Inc. since December 2008. Prior roles include managing street outreach programs and responsibilities in planning and evaluation at Action for a Better Community, Inc. Valerie's background includes significant contributions at the City of Seattle as a Senior Grants & Contracts Specialist and as a Program Coordinator at YWCA of Seattle, King County, Snohomish County. Additional experience includes involvement with The Mockingbird Society and YouthCare Seattle, focusing on outreach and engagement. Valerie holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Science in Cinema & Photography from Ithaca College.
