Ken Abod has had a long and varied professional career. Ken started as a Supervisory Senior Accountant at Ernst & Young LLP in 1987 and later worked as a Staff Accountant at the US Securities and Exchange Commission. From 1993 to 1994, they served as the Treasurer and Vice President at Bankers Finance Investment Management Company, Inc. Ken then became a Manager of Defined Contribution Services at Bolton Offutt Donovan from 1994 to 1996.
Ken Abod joined Sunrise Senior Living in 1996 and held several positions during their tenure. Ken served as Treasurer and Senior Vice President, overseeing strategic planning, financial forecasting, and capital management. Ken also became the Chief Financial Officer of the Management Services Division and later the Senior Vice President and Controller. During their time at Sunrise Senior Living, they played a key role in an acquisition that doubled the company's size and led to successful integration with a competitor.
In 2006, Ken Abod started their own venture, CFO Link, where they provided part-time and interim CFO services to small and mid-sized companies. Then, from 2008 to 2010, they worked as the Treasurer and Vice President at Hanger, Inc., a leading provider of orthotics and prosthetics.
In 2014, Ken Abod joined MyEyeDr. as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Finance. Ken held this position until 2017 when they became the Chief Financial Officer of the Center for Vein Restoration.
Throughout their career, Ken Abod has gained extensive experience in financial management, accounting, and leadership roles in various industries.
Ken Abod attended James Madison University where they obtained a B.B.A in Accountancy in 1987. Ken also became a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Virginia.
