Cynthia Vervena is a highly experienced professional in quality assurance and research, currently serving as a Quality Assurance Specialist at the Center for the Study of Services since February 2023. Prior to this role, Vervena worked as the Data Quality Project Lead at the Institute for Public Health Innovation, where key contributions were made to the COVID-19 response in Fairfax County by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of outbreak data. Vervena's extensive background includes roles such as Administrative Team Member at the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners®, Associate Director of Data and Survey Research at the Radiology Business Management Association, and Research Associate at both the American Association of Community Colleges and CUPA-HR. Vervena began the career as a Research Analyst at the College of Southern Maryland. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Educational Psychology and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia.
