Joseph Spelde has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. In 2015, they began their career as an Office Assistant & Clerk at EIP, where they worked until 2016. From 2017 to 2017, Joseph worked as a Student Intern at Youth and Leaders Living Actively (YALLA).
In 2018, Joseph took on multiple roles, starting as a Teen Program Assistant at Boys & Girls Club of Greater Holland from March to May, and then transitioning to the Macatawa Area Coordinating Council. At the council, they worked as a Transportation Intern from March to December and later assumed the role of Program Assistant from December 2018 to May 2019.
In 2019, Joseph worked as a Data Associate (contracted) at Numerator, until January 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they joined the Chicago Public Schools as a Data Analyst. In this role, they were responsible for loading, cleaning, submitting, and analyzing district data, as well as supporting other department specific data needs.
Most recently, in 2022, Joseph joined the Center for Research in Security Prices, LLC (CRSP) as an EDM Developer, where they are currently employed.
Joseph Spelde attended Point Loma Nazarene University from the years 2013 to 2017, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science. In 2016, they also studied at the DIS - Danish Institute for Study Abroad, focusing on Urban Studies/Affairs. In 2019 to 2020, they furthered their education by completing a Data Analyst program at Udacity.
