Timothy Hughes is currently serving as a Delegate at the Center for Popular Democracy in partnership with the People's Coalition for Safety and Freedom and the #FreeTheVote Coalition. Additionally, Timothy is a Fellow at The Royal Society for Arts, Manufactures and Commerce and a Policy Consultant for the Black Clergy Collaborative of Memphis, advocating for the Black Church's voice on economic empowerment, civic engagement, and criminal justice reform. Membership in the Tennessee Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence focuses on increasing inclusivity and effectiveness for underserved populations, while ongoing work as a Policy Consultant at Vanderbilt University Medical Center emphasizes anti-racism efforts. Previous roles include Research Fellow positions at PolicyLink, Mosaic Changemakers, Southern Coalition for Social Justice, The Equity Alliance, and The Memorial Foundation. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Fisk University and a Certificate in Public Theology & Racial Justice from Vanderbilt University.
